American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support Recertification Course
Service Description
This American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Recertification class is designed for healthcare professionals who need to renew their PALS certification. The course focuses on the recognition and management of pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress, shock, and cardiac arrest in infants and children. Participants will review current AHA guidelines, practice pediatric assessment and treatment algorithms, and engage in team-based simulations to enhance critical thinking and teamwork in emergency situations. Upon successful completion, students will receive an updated AHA PALS Provider eCard, valid for two years. Prerequisite: Current (unexpired or recently expired) AHA PALS Provider certification and current BLS certification. Course Length: Approximately 5–6 hours (varies by class size and experience). Certification: American Heart Association PALS Provider (2-year certification).

Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 01/08/2026 Rescue ED is committed to providing high-quality CPR, BLS, ACLS, and PALS training. Please review our Refund Policy carefully before registering for a class. Course Cancellations by Participant Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled class date are eligible for a full refund of the tuition paid. Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled class date are not eligible for a refund. Failure to attend a scheduled class (no-shows) is not eligible for a refund. Course Cancellations by Rescue ED Rescue ED reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to low enrollment, instructor availability, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. In the event Rescue ED cancels a class, participants will be offered: A full refund, or The option to transfer registration to a future class at no additional cost. Transfers At Rescue ED’s discretion, participants may be allowed to transfer their registration to another class date. Transfer requests must be made prior to the scheduled class and are subject to availability. Refund Processing Approved refunds will be issued using the original method of payment. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution. Non-Refundable Fees Any third-party fees, including but not limited to payment processing fees, may be non-refundable where permitted by law. Certification Issuance Rescue ED submits participant information to the American Heart Association within 24 hours of course completion. Refunds will not be issued due to delays in certification card issuance, as this process is managed by the American Heart Association.
